Show hosts Walter Tapp and Gary Hyatt have over twenty years of combined experience in the racing industry, and their show is very interactive, featuring weekly driver interviews and fans’ phone calls, text messages, and social media posts. The tracks that Race Chat focuses on are Travelers Rest Speedway, Anderson Speedway, Greenville Pickens Speedway, Hartwell Speedway, Foothills Raceway, Sugartit Speedway, and Cherokee Speedway.
About The Hosts:
Walter Tapp has been involved in local racing for almost his entire twenty-nine years on Earth, starting as a racing fan as a child. He has spent the last nine years working as an announcer at several tracks, including Travelers Rest Speedway, Harris Speedway, Anderson Motor Speedway, Westminster Speedway, Laurens County Speedway, and Union County Speedway. Along with announcing at those tracks, he has also worked multiple tour series events over the years.
